initial post

Well, after lurking around You Knit What? for about a month, I've decided to start a blog and see where it takes me.

I'm also beginning a new knitting project: a shetland sweater in a heathered grey color. Assuming the wool can be ordered and delivered sometime soon. *smites Jamieson's for selling a book and having no stockists carry the colors advertised*

The project will be a first, in that I've never cabled before. Adventure, thy name is cable knitting. Go Me!

Wow! I didn't even know that you could knit! Cool! I love cables. I'm in the process of designing some Green Day mittens. In black and red, of course...
take care,

Oh yeah? I don't believe you knit, you should post pictures to prove it.

(This is my cheesy way of asking for some cool knitting pictures on your blog. I'm looking forward to seeing your work.)

Dear Folks,

Sorry, but after a year of not posting, it's pretty obvious that I'm a lousy blogger. I'm better at lurking over in LiveJournal. Sorry to say that this blog is officially DOA.

(Oh, and the sweater is about half done, because of a few major interruptions, but it looks good so far. And very sorry to see You Knit What? bite the dust.)
